With nearly two decades of experience in the security industry, Deon Solomon has built DHS Private Security, Inc. into one of California’s trusted private security providers. His career in security began in 2008, working with the Department of Homeland Security before serving as a Public Safety Supervisor for the City of Santa Monica. These early leadership roles provided the foundation for his hands-on approach to safety, professionalism, and client service.

In January 2013, Deon established DHS Private Security, Inc. with a vision of delivering dependable, professional, and customer-focused security solutions for businesses, residential communities, municipalities, and special events. One of the company’s first contracts was providing security services for a residential community in West Hollywood — a relationship that helped lay the groundwork for the company’s growth and reputation throughout California.

Under Deon’s leadership, DHS Private Security has expanded from a local operation into a company providing armed and unarmed protection services across Northern and Southern California, from San Diego to Santa Rosa, as well as projects in other states. Today, DHS Private Security protects commercial properties, hotels, retail centers, warehouses, construction sites, HOA communities, and high-profile events for both public and private sector clients.

Known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to client relationships, Deon has built a company culture centered around integrity, accountability, and proactive protection. His leadership continues to drive DHS Private Security’s mission of providing reliable security solutions tailored to the unique needs of every client and property served.
